About The Dome Valve®

Macawber Engineering is the original US Patent (4,137,935 | 5,642,751) holder and designer of the Dome Valve®. Since the patents have expired, we continue to see replicates and reengineered versions in the market, and while we see it is the highest form of flattery, it has maintained its superiority in the industry.

The Dome Valve® was specifically designed for the dense phase pneumatic conveying of materials. However, it’s robust, reliable and unique design has allowed the valve to be incorporated into various process streams. It has the ability to be customized to support various applications including temperatures up to 1202°F (650°C). Due to its functionality, the Dome Valve® minimizes maintenance downtime when repairs are needed, saving time and costs.
